The 2019 MTV EMA Nominees list is out and five African artistes would have to battle it out in the best African Act category.

Burna Boy, Teni, South Africa’s Nasty C, Tanzania’s Harmonize and Togo’s Toofan Prince Kaybee all make up the five-man list. This category has been won mostly by Nigerian artistes and most recently by Tiwa Savage. It would be really exciting if another Nigerian wins it again, however, it’s a tough group, the best that could be done in this regard is to be hopeful.

The award ceremony will be held at the FIBES Conference and Exhibition Centre in Seville, Andalusia, Spain on Sunday, 3th of November.
